~Romantic Bed Breakfast~

What could be more relaxing after a hard week at work than to be able to sit back and enjoy a sweet morning meal with the love of your life? The classic romantic breakfast idea is the oil breakfast in bed routine. Everyone loves to be able to lay about in bed without needing to worry about their every day stresses, and it's especially wonderful when someone else is up and about with pots and pans! There are so many excellent breakfast foods and ways to present it, you can try a few different ones over several weeks! Follow these easy steps for the perfect breakfast or brunch for your beloved:

The fool proof...

Eggs and bacon are the classic breakfast staple! Hot, crispy bacon and your loved one's favourite style of eggs on thick toast with a chilled glass of juice - isn't your mouth watering just thinking abouth this romantic breakfast idea? It can be very messy to serve in bed though, so if you have an outdoor eating area consider setting up the meal there instead.

The sweeth tooth...

Pancakes floating in a sea of maple syrup and ice cream are the love of any real sweet tooth's life! If you don't think you can cook them yourself, you can buy frozen pancakes from the grocery store and heat them up. Drown them in syrup, or to keep them fresh and make sure you appeal to your beloved's tastes by presenting syrup and ice cream in individual side dishes.

The glamourous...

How can you go past champagne and strawberries, followed by decadent lounging in bed! This romantic breakfast idea will appeal to the movie star in your lover with a tall, chilled champagne flute and succulent strawberries for an enchanting morning treat that he or she will never see coming!

The Relaxation technique...

Sometimes the most romantic breakfast idea is just to spend it doing what you want to do, and your loved one will be thrilled by the idea of being able to relax in bed for as long as they like. Bring a steaming coffee, the morning paper and toast or biscotti for a perfect morning staying in.

NOTHING could be better than just letting the love of your life take some time out from the daily grind to rejuvenate.

For a bit of extra romantic breakfast idea, add some finishing touches to whatever you choose to serve up. Think freshly picked flowers from the garden, a favourite magazine, a spa voucher or even a nice love letter.

There are plenty of ideas for romance to be found, so add a bit of something special and take your loved one's breath away. If you are not able to serve up breakfast in bed, take them out to a great little cafe - preferably by water or a lovely park - and LAP UP THE SUNSHINE. What could be a more romantic breakfast idea than just spending it together?
